orange county, california
the name pretty much speaks for itself. the oc as they call it, is the second most populous county in the state of california, having 2,846,289 people living in the city overall and making it the fifth most populous in the united states. between all the high maintenance and high class feelings this city may give you on tv, orange county can be laid back. gas prices get higher and higher each day. it is also a famous tourist destination, as the county is home to such attractions as disneyland and knott's berry farm. it is often portrayed in the media as a quite affluent and politically powerful region. it is at the center of southern california's tech coast, with irvine being the primary business hub. thirty-four incorporated cities are located in orange county; the newest is aliso viejo, with anaheim being the oldest. orange county was the second most expensive housing market in the u.s. with a median home price of $650,000. the real orange county...with its beaches and beach cities, you won't find yourself without an adventure.
